This year was Britain's Queen Elizabeth II's diamond jubilee as she celebrated 60 years on the throne. As part of festivities she hosted groups from around the world to mark the occasion at Windsor Castle in England. Kenyans were not left behind as the queen took a while to engage in hearty banter with the team representing the country after the occasion.

Last weekend saw rally and buggies drivers test a new track in Nguu Tatu in Mombasa. This was a boost for the rally drivers in preparations for the national Auto cross Kenya Championship in Nairobi and Nanyuki. The event saw 16 entries with five entries from Nairobi.
