The economy has improved because of President William Ruto.

The President has put in place policies with a vision that the value chains will connect from different sectors.

If you follow the policies keenly, you will find that this is what has been happening.

If it is about affordable housing, it comes with providing job opportunities for the youth and providing ready market for certain products – doors, windows, nails and many others.

We can attribute the improvement of the economy to proper planning by the Kenya Kwanza administration, and coming up with the laws that support the Executive’s agenda.

When we were looking for votes, we had a manifesto and we are following it fully.

We can also attribute the improvement in the economy to the President himself.

The President is a good listener. He is listening to economic advisers, political advisers and his advisers are doing a good job.

This is just the beginning of it all. I know by the end of this year, everybody who was skeptical will now see the reality.

Nevertheless, being a protector of devolution, I think, while the President is trying so much to bring this country to a certain level, the governors are doing the contrary.

Initially, we used to hear that the national government is killing devolution. We remember the pioneer governors that were led by Isaac Ruto.

Even the next group of governors accused the national government of killing devolution.

But this current one, the President is supporting devolution and he’s sending their money as per the schedule passed by the Senate.

Today, devolution is being killed from within by the governors.

The money that the national government is pumping to the counties after taxing Kenyans is being stolen by people in the counties.

If the governors were putting in the same energy as the President, I believe this country would have been better off than it is today.

In short, the President had laid down the policIes and put in place structures and systems of taking this country to a higher level. Now, he should focus on fighting corruption so that these stealing governors can be stopped.
