Two rape orphan in her granny’s farm

POLICE in Mukurwe-ini district have launched investigations after a 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two men in Nyeri. The Form One student at a day school in Igane yesterday told the police the two men accosted her as she was returning to their house from the toilet at around 5:30am. They tied her hands, gagged her using her clothes and dragged her to her grandmother's farm, where they raped her. When she fought them and attempted to scream, they ran away leaving her in the farm. She was later rescued by neighbours who reported the matter to Igane's sub-chief. They also took her to the Mukurwe-ini district hospital. She is an orphan and is currently living with her grandmother.
