Local data firm goes forensic
Local technology firm, East Africa Data Handlers, has launched a new mobile data recovery technology targeting the increasing use of digital forensics in the legal systems. The technology recovers information destroyed, lost or deleted from mobile phones, sim cards, memory cards, tablets not more than five years old. According to George Njoroge,the Managing Director of East Africa Data Handlers such data include contacts, photos, sms, notes, videos, email and passwords, calendars and notes, “We realised their is increasing demand for this services and found the need to invest in this technology,” he said. Njoroge said the company invested an initial of sh10 million in developing the technology
