Tusker Project Fame winner Ruth Matete has vowed to to last longer than most of the previous TPF winners. Ruth who managed to beat her greatest threats Doreen, Rwanda's Jackson and Burundi's Joe says that she is going to make the best out of the deal he got from Universal records."I will be recording with local producers too and although I cannot promise to last the longest I will put my best into it,"she told Word Is.

Ruth also revealed that she would move from her father's house just to cool off and make up her mind on what she wants. "I need a different environment because you never know who is happy or not for you. I'm planning to tithe some of the money, buy a car, give some to my father and then reward myself with the rest," she said.

Ruth is an only child, raised by a single dad, Mali actor Abel Amunga who plays Mwambu. Her first single titled Ndoto Langu is featured in the top ten Universal sponsored album. The song is about a lady who is fantasizing to have this great man and this perfect man only exists in her head. "He is not a real man. She is just dreaming and hoping she would find a man like that," said Ruth.
