Mombasa aspirant’s car attacked

Police in Mombasa are investigating an incident where a vehicle belonging to Mombasa governor hopeful Suleiman Shahbal was pelted with stones by goons allegedly hired by his political rivals. Kisauni police boss Julius Wanjohi yesterday said the vehicle was attacked at Karama near Kongowea market. Shahbal was however not in the car during the incident. Three of his staff who were in the car were injured and their personal belongings. Shahbal was making his way to the market in a different car.
