KCB share tie with Chemelil at City

Bankers KCB and Chemelil Sugar served out a dull barren draw during a Kenya Premier League match at City Stadium KCB began the match with more purpose but were let down by  poor finishing from their front men led by Ezekiel Odera and Under-23 captain Paul Mungai.  The two teams remained neck and neck just outside the top half of the table with Chemelil with 26 points, a place and 2 points above 10th placed KCB. KPL action continues today with only one match on the cards.

Second from bottom Oserian will be without defensive rock Franklin Osama when they face Western Stima in a Kenya Premier League match this afternoon.  The hard-tackling defender is serving a one match ban after collecting his fifth yellow card in their last match away at Muhoroni Youth. Oserian will be keen to pick all three points in their home matches as they bid to haul themselves out of the relegation zone. They are currently two points adrift of Muhoroni Youth, who occupy the last safety position. Alfred Imonje’s Youth travel to Gusii Stadium, where they will face Sony Sugar tomorrow. AFC Leopards are also seeking to rebound from their goal less draw with Rangers on Thursday when they visit Thika United tomorrow.
