After jetting in yesterday, Jamaican singer Tarrus Riley will be rocking his fans tonight at the Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi. Tarrus, who was accompanied by Jamaican songstress Etana, will first have a meet-and-greet session with his fans at the VIP area before briefly meeting the media ahead of his show which starts at 6pm.

The singer, famous for songs like She's Royal, Armageddon and Getty Getty, has consistently racked up awards for his work. Among his accolades are best singer, male vocalist, cultural artiste, song of the year, and best song. Some of the awards institutions which have rewarded Riley include the Youth View Awards, The Star People’s Choice Awards, EME Awards and the Reggae Academy awards.

Etana on the other hand presents an eclectic mix of ideas and influences, which include veteran soft-rock duo Air Supply, the queen of country-kitsch Dolly Parton, the king of reggae Bob Marley and the cultural efforts of Sizzla Kalonji. Their Nairobi concert is courtesy of the Dohty Family.
