Etana had issues, not the promoter: Kriss Darlin

Dohty Family's DJ Kriss Darlin has dismissed reggae artiste Etana allegations on twitter that she had issues with the promoter before her performance last Saturday.

Etana, on arrival went on twitter ranting on how she was having a tough time too as she even threatened not to perform. “So my representative had hell dealing with this Kenya promoter and I may not be able to perform. Though I’m here. Crazy.Wah dis mi come buck up pan inna Kenya *Sic*. Ever feel like your hands tied? Women always fight extra hard”, read one of her tweets.

She however had a change of heart an hour later and agreed to perform only because she had come this far and did not want to disappoint her fans “I won’t disappoint my fans though, come too far and been ready too long! ” she tweeted. "If she really had an issue with the promoter she would not have got on stage.

Besides she never complained to us. She could have written whatever but that does not amount to anything,"Kriss Darlin told Word Is. Meanwhile Kriss revealed that he is organising a festival for local reggae artistes to be held in December. "We will invite artistes from Jamaica for a whole week festival. It will be like a carnival. It's however too early to mention the artistes that we are bringing,"he said.
