Call to sack Nzoia directors

Sugarcane farmers in Trans Nzoia have called for the dissolution of the Nzoia Sugar Factory's board. The board has been criticised for allegedly interfering with procurement procedures involving the construction of a Sh300 million water bottling plant. Kenya Sugarcane Growers Union executive member Lucas Watta yesterday demanded that the entire board be dissolved ''for abetting corruption at the firm''.
