Two in court over abortion

Two people were yesterday charged in Ogembo court with attempting to procure an abortion.The accused, Robinson Ogenche and Hellen Nyang’ara denied the charge before senior principal magistrate Daniel Ogolla.

The two were charged of performing anabortion to a girl in Nyamache on August 10. Ogenche faced another charge of illegally keeping poison contrary to section 26(2) of the Pharmacy and Poisons Board a charge he also denied.
