Students of the University of Nairobi participated in the first of its kind youth-oriented venture titled ‘IndiAfrica – A Shared Future’ last Friday at the main campus. An initiative launched by the IdeaWorks Design and Strategy along with the Ministry of External Affairs in India, IndiAfrica hopes to establish links between Africa and India through youth activities and fellowship programs.

This was achieved at the campus where the IndiAfrica hosted a day full of activities for students. There was a panel discussion, a gala dinner that was attended by the Indian High commissioner to Kenya, Sibabrata Tripathi as well as a live performance by the Indian Ocean band to spice up the evening.

This program is an offshoot of ‘India Future of Change’ which was launched in 2010 and hosted similar events at London School of Business, Humboldt University - Berlin, University of Hamburg and INSEAD Singapore.
