Girls go gospel at the Nairobi Baptist Church

The Nairobi
Baptist Church on Ngong Road was the venue for a unique concert last
Friday. The evening was
dedicated to a young man called Noel
Nderitu who
was accepted on a partial scholarship to the highly regarded Berklee
College of Music in the USA.

The large
audience and singers were here to support him raise the remaining
funds to facilitate him to get the best musical education money can
buy.

Some of Nairobi's finest singers came out in support, they included former Tusker
Project Fame vocal coach Kavutha
Asiyo and
UN-HABITAT
Messenger of Truth
Habitat Sara
Mitaru.

If Nderitu can do
even half as well as former Berklee College of Music student Eric
Wainaina ,
then the evening of fun and enjoyment will have all been worth it.
