TPF's Doreen to head peace caravan

Tusker Project Fame first runners' up Doreen Nyawira is already working on her first project a month after leaving the reality show. The Nairobi university criminology student is working with Boma tunes Band. She is part of a peace caravan that will be going on a countrywide tour preaching peace and promoting national cohesion as the general election nears.

"We are now rehearsing on peace songs and we are just about to start the tour which will be happening two weekends in a month, thus not interfering with my school time table,"Doreen told Word Is. Asked whether she will be pursuing a career in music, the Nyahururu born star was not very sure."Right now I am just focused on completing my education and then from there I will decide what I want to do.

However music will always be part of  me; I'll never let go,''she said. Doreen was one of the most outstanding contestants, having survived eviction almost every Sunday and finally making it to the finals.
