Peter Kenneth to raise funds for music studio
Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth will at this Friday's Gatanga Night hosted at the Carnivore raise funds to buy equipment for a music studio. In the previous Gatanga night events, the money raised has been used to buy equipment for Kirwara Hospital and to put up a modern music studio in Gatanga. This studio will go a long way in helping upcoming young musicians to practice and record their music locally. It is also the intention of the management of the studio to hire it out to other Kenyans.
Funds raised during this year’s event will be used to buy equipment for the studio. The event will bring together musicians from Gatanga constituency, Murang’a county and other invited guests. Gatanga musicians will include Kariuki Kiarutara, Timona Mburu, Gachathi wa Thuo, Kigia wa Esther, DK wa Maria, Monicah Munga and Helen Mwangi. Among the invited guests musicians will be Muraya Junior, Wahome wa Maingi, John Njagi and Ben Githae. Gate charges are Sh 1000.
