Wellness Coach Wanjiku Wairia – Lumula has been appointed the “Stay Young, Do Milk” ambassador by the Kenya Dairy Processors Association. She is mandated to promote the consumption of milk and influence perception change that milk is actually a cool and trendy beverage.

Wanjiku will also be reminding audiences of its benefits including how milk contributes to great stature for both men and women way into their advanced years. Wanjiku’s mantra is “Wellness is the epitome an individual’s unique state of well-being, actualised through the integration and balance of one’s mind, body, spirit and soul for an active healthy lifestyle”.

She will be speaking at various forums engaging audiences on the unique facts about milk. How they can incorporate it in their everyday lifestyle thereby creating a milk drinking culture. The campaign hopes to increase consumer numbers by improving the quality of processed milk and ensuring adequate supply whilst creating more wealth for farmers and other stakeholders within the value chain. The KDPA, consists of New KCC Ltd, Brookside Dairy, Githunguri Milk Processors, Sameer Milk Processors, Happy Cow, Buzeki Dairy, Meru Central Milk Processors, Tetra Pak and Tuzo.
