Police seize 150 detonators

Police in Kasarani are looking for a woman suspected to be the owner of 150 detonators recovered in Githurai 45 near Equity bank yesterday morning.

A trader, who requested anonymity, told the police that a middle-aged woman walked into her kiosk and asked her to watch over her handbag for as she goes to answer a call of nature.

She grew suspicious when the woman took long to come back for the handbag.

"I decided to open it and found strange-looking contents inside," she said.

Kasarani police boss Augustine Thumbi handed the detonators to bomb experts.
