All the glitz and glamour came together at one venue last weekend to celebrate the 13th annual IIFA Awards held in Singapore. Riya Sharma from East FM represented the Radio Africa Group courtesy of Sunrive and Holiday Bazaar Ltd. She had an opportunity to rub shoulders with the Bollywood fraternity – from actors to directors, from music directors to starlets, and everyone in between. It was a whirlwind three days for Riya as she snapped up every opportunity to get exclusive interviews with the stars for the Star and East FM and photographs too, bringing you a step closer to the world of Bollywood by sharing her experiences one on one.

The green carpet at the IIFAs was tread on by renowned names of Bollywood as they entered the hall to see who would win what. Walking away with the top most accolades were, unsurprisingly, Ranbir Kapoor for his role in Rockstar and Vidya Balan for her role in The Dirty Picture. Best Music Direction award went to A R Rahman while the team of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara totally smashed it with a whole load of awards to take back home.
