Clerics plea for prisoners
A Narok clergy has urged churches to preach the gospel to the prisoners in the region. Seventh Day Adventist Church Pastor Nathan Oirere said that the church has a role play in reforming prisoners. He made the remarks at Narok Prison after the church baptised seven inmates and 39 others graduated after completing bible lessons.
Oirere added that the criminal activities in the country will be reduced if the church takes the responsibility of preaching to inmates and giving them hope messages. Oirere also noted that there is need to preach peace, especially with the approaching general election. At the same time, Oirere warned the youth against being misused by politicians.
