Students will get printed result slips two weeks after the release of their exam results, the examination council has said.
The Kenya National Examination Council CEO Paul Wasanaga yesterday said they have designed online result slips for this year’s KCPE and KCSE candidates. “Schools will use log-in’s to access the result slips portal on the Knec website,” he said.
Speaking at Mitihani House in Nairobi during the launch of the 2013 national examinations, Wasanga said headteachers will stamp the slips and issue to candidates. Candidates will be required to read through their result slips and raise any issues within six weeks of the date their results are released.
Knec launched a customer relations management system presided over by Education PS Belio Kipsang. Wasanga said the new system “will address customers queries via a Sema Nasi software developed on the Knec website”.
