Kisumu HQ office raided

TEN computers and a seal used at the civil registry offices were on Thursday night stolen from Kisumu East district headquarters. Addressing journalists at his office yesterday, Cheboi said six desktops and a laptop were stolen from the civil registry offices while three from the youth department. “We suspect that it was an inside job since none of the doors to the said offices was broken into,” said acting DC Willy Cheboi. “In the civil registry offices the CPU’s and the laptop which were locked up in a metal cabinet only opened by a secret code were stolen,” he added.
