Use women for peace, says Obath
KENYA Private Sector Alliance KEPSA chairman Patrick Obath has advised the government to use women in peace preaching to the nation. Obath said women have a great influence to the society and more knowledgeable on peace campaigns having been the most affected during violence times. “We all know what women underwent during the post election violence including rape qualifying them to be the right people to use due to their experience,” Obath said yesterday in a Mkenya Daima women peace conference at KICC. He said women were selected from 47 counties to represent their counties on educating people on the importance of peace at a group level.
