Buruburu meet Soweto while Nile Road face State House in semis

Buruburu Girls School defeated Moi Girls Nairobi 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-16) in the volleyball quarter-final match of the ongoing Nairobi Provincial secondary schools Term 2B Games. Buruburu will now meet little known Soweto in semis on Saturday.  Another surprising team Nile Road also booked a place in the semis after edging out neighbours Huruma Girls 3-0 at Eastleigh High School ground. Nile Road face State House Girls, who beat former champions Pangani 3-1 (27-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-11) to reach last four. Soweto beat Dandora High 3-1 in their quarter final match. In the boys’ matches, Lang’ata will face Hospital Hill while Euticas will take on Lenana in the boys’ semi finals. Lang’ata qualified after beating Starehe 3-2 while Hospital Hill had an easy time over Kayole South whom they thrashed 3-0. Euticas beat hosts Eastleigh 3-2 while Lang’ata ran over Our Lady of Fatima 3-0.
