Missing man’s body found
The body of a 23-year-old man who disappeared in Konoin district of Bomet county has been found in a tea farm. Chief Jonah Chepkwony said a casual worker at the tea plantation found the body and she raised alarm which attracted neighbours to the scene. Chepkwony said as the residents were rushing to the scene, they spotted a dog fleeing with parts of a hand of a human suspected to belong to the deceased. He said most parts of the decaying body had been eaten by stray dogs. Chepkwony said the man's relatives had been able to identify him. Bureti OCPD Patrick Nandi said the man is suspected to have committed suicide.
