For the record

In the Weekend Star of July 7/8, the Siasa cover story ‘The Great Transition: Corruption and the Ngoroko Season’ by John Githongo inadvertently contained an editing error. The article referred to a meeting in May between President Kibaki and the NSIS over the possibility of election chaos in the next election. The article continued, “What was curious about this was that it was not reported in the media at all.” The sentence should have read that it was curious that the meeting was reported in the media. The word 'not' was wrongly inserted during final editing.
