Ababu slams Musalia move

VIHIGA  ODM's Ababu Namwamba has said Amani coalition presidential candidate Musalia Mudavadi could have become president after Prime Minister Raila Odinga if he supported the PM.

Campaigning for Cord in Vihiga, Namwamba said Mudavadi is ruining his chance of becoming the first Luhyia president.“In Kenya it is usual that for one to be a strong presidential candidate, he or she must start with two vote blocs. Mudavadi should support Raila so that he can inherit his Nyanza bloc," he said.

Namwamba said Jubilee leaders Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto signed agreements with Mudavadi promising to step aside for him when Cord was being formed for fear he would return to ODM.

“They have abandoned him now that they got what they wanted,” he said.

Namwamba was accompanied by EALA member Nancy Abisai, Vihiga ODM governor aspirant Ken Butiko and county co-ordinator George Muyera.
