Private firms boost security
PRIVATE security firms have been asked to re-train their guards in a bid to beef up security. Chief executive officer Shearforce Security Kenya Duncan Ngari said private security firms if equipped with knowledge on how to combat terrorism will help enhance security.
Speaking while awarding merit certificates to 31 security guards trained at the Shearforce academy in Eldoret, Ngari said most private security firms only provide physical skills to their employees. He asked them to pay their employees well to motivate them.
