KTTA stage team event in Thika this weekend

Thika Municipal Open table tennis tournament will be held this weekend at Blue Post Hotel in Thika town. The last event was national trials staged at Brahma Samaj in Mombasa and was used to select the team to the world Olympic qualification tournament in Doha. KTTA Secretary Andrew Mudibo said Thika show is among events being hosting before rolling out the national league. “Standards have now been set and only the sky is the limit,” said Mudibo, adding: “Table tennis is definitely going places and with the introduction of the team event and individual data registration for players, the fraternity  is set for bigger things.”
All entries for teams must be received by today and late entrants will be locked out.
