Kenha moves on site to repair pothole after motorists uproar

Kenya National Highways Authority has started repairing potholes on a section of Waiyaki Way.

The ongoing repairs near Villa Rosa Kempinski came as a result of uproar from motorists.

The motorists complained of the potholes which they say have been damaging vehicles.

The authority moved to the site at night to avoid heavy traffic flow and to give ample time for work.

"The Kenya National Highways Authority wishes to inform the public that the contractor has continued with the repair works on Waiyaki Way, towards Westlands, ahead of new surface dressing," Kenha said in a statement.

In addition to that, Kenha stated that they will ensure the public's safety and convenience remain the utmost concern.

The Authority also commended people for being patient as they worked on the matter.

"We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we endeavour to enhance our road infrastructure," Kenha stated.
