Police in Kisumu on Sunday gunned down a suspected robber and recovered a pistol in Riat, Kisumu East.
Two others escaped during the operation conducted by officers from the elite Quick Response Team (QRT) at Ukweli pastoral centre.

said two motorcycles, mobile phones and several rolls of bhang were also recovered.
"The thugs had in the morning waylaid a lorry supplying gas cylinders along the Kakamega road and made away with Sh40,000," he said.
