Anthony Munga has been appointed the National Police Service deputy spokesman.

He will deputise Charles Owino, who is the National police spokesman, as per the changes unveiled on Wednesday.

Munga previously served as personal assistant to former DCI chief Ndegwa Muhoro and current director George Kinoti.

Those privy to the development say his exit from the DCI office has paved way for Ali Roba.

The latter is a former police officer whom Kinoti has brought on board to be an adviser and personal assistant.
