A police officer was on Sunday found dead in Kitengela.
The officer was allegedly murdered by unknown assailants.
Before his death, he had been assigned to patrol Noonkopir area together with three others.
Isinya OCPD Kinyua Mugambi said investigations have been launched to establish the circumstances under which the officer died while in the company of three others who were all armed.
“Hold on with your questions until we come up with full details regarding this disturbing incidence. As for now, we have nothing for you to write,” Mugambi told the Star on phone.
His body has been moved to Shalom Community Hospital in Athi River.
At the Shalom hospital, relatives claimed the deceased has been shot twice, in the mouth and on his waist.
