A KDF officer was on Tuesday charged in a Machakos law court with three counts of defilement.
Paul Mbuvi Nzivo, attached at KMA Lanet, denied the charge before senior resident magistrate Irene Kahuyia.
Nzivo is accused of defiling a 16-year-old standard eight pupil between June and July 2018 at Wamunyu market, Mwala sub-county.
He was granted a Sh100,000 bond and a surety of the same amount. The case will be mentioned on July 31, 2018.
Nzivo was arrested and detained at Masii Police Station on Sunday after a report by a resident.
"It was reported by a member of the public that there was a person who had a habit of picking a 16-year-old juvenile from her homestead using motor vehicle Reg No. KBK 658N and taking her to Wamunyu area where he defiled her," the police report reads in part.
