A form one student from Uasin Gishu has been charged with attempting to write KCPE for a candidate in Baringo.

Dennis Rotich,15, was arraigned on Thursday after spending the night at Marigat police station.

The student of Kapng'etuny Secondary School allegedly committed the offence at Kimalel Day and Boarding Primary School on

Wednesday.

Head teacher Kipkosiom Chepkerich said he saw the suspect enter the exam room through the window.

"An inspection showed he was sitting on a desk belonging to candidate Chemoiwo Kiprop Victor, of index no.33558110070, who was absent," said Chepkerich.
