The NASA team yesterday started their campaign in Trans Nzoia by giving the IEBC an ultimatum to make public the register of voters by next Tuesday.
Addressing hundreds of supporters in Kiminini town, presidential candidate Raila Odinga said despite having concluded voter verification the electoral agency is yet to make the register available.
The law requires the IEBC to make it public three days after the conclusion of the verification process, he said.
The process of verification was concluded early this month.
“We are giving Chebukati and his team up to Tuesday next week to ensure the register of only eligible voters is available, failing which we will take the next course of action,” he said.
Raila was accompanied by NASA principals Moses Wetang’ula (Ford Kenya), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper) and Andrew Kutitila (Federal Party of Kenya).
Kalonzo dismissed Jubilee’s claims that NASA will fire chiefs after taking power, saying they are spreading the propaganda as they are afraid they will lose the August 8 poll. He said their government will instead improve the welfare of chiefs.
