Former Cooperative Development Minister Joe Nyagah, who is vying for President as an Independent, has denied being anybody’s project.
Nyagah yesterday said, contrary to the rumours, he is not sponsored by anybody as a spoiler in the General Election. Nyagah said although he has worked closely with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga in the past, he is not offering his candidature under instructions from either of them.
He said his campaign’s funding is mainly sourced from like-minded political allies both in Kenya and abroad. Nyagah said he just concluded a tour of the United Kingdom where he met various groups of philanthropists who were thrilled by his pursuit of change of the country’s political destiny.
