Governor hopefuls

in Trans Nzoia are seeking

the endorsement of communities during their campaigns.
On Saturday, Jubilee aspirant Kakai Bisau (pictured) met the Kikuyu community. The group said it will support him and every other candidate running on the Jubilee ticket.
Speaking at the Kitale Nature Conservancy, Kikuyu Association in Trans Nzoia patron Boniface Ndura said, “Since the House of Mumbi is in Jubilee, we do not want the rest of the community to be divided as President Uhuru Kenyatta told us to support party aspirants, who will help in running the next government if he is reelected.” He said it is important for the party to win the majority of seats so Uhuru can concentrate on his mandate instead of “worrying about the opposition making his work hard”. Bisau said he will ensure the interests of the Kikuyu are looked into if elected.
