A video clip has emerged showing Meru Senator Kiraitu Murungi being shouted down at a function when he tried to persuade the audience not to vote for NASA at the August polls.
The people shout 'NASA' as Kiraitu stands next to
Igembe North parliamentary aspirant Maoka Maore.
It is not clear where they were.
Maore, former Ntonyiri MP and Anglo Leasing scandal whistle blower, is eyeing the North Igembe seat on a Jubilee ticket.
On March 2, Murungi asked the community not to make "the mistake" of voting for the Opposition.
He said his plea was informed by his 10-year experience on this side of the political divide, which is led by ODM boss Raila Odinga.
Raila, NASA's presidential candidate, will vie with Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka as his running mate.
