A pupil died on Friday in a
fire
at Infill Academy in Komarock, Nairobi.
The fire started in the upper section of a dormitory and spread to other areas.
Nairobi police commander Japheth Koome
said they were unable to put it out and save the six year-old.
"We are yet to establish the cause of the fire," he said.
The incident comes days after
after a dormitory was razed at Koimbi Boys' High School in Murang'a.
Principal John Muthee said they suspected the fire, which completely destroyed the facility, resulted from an electric fault.
