Three people were killed when a matatu rolled several times on its way from Kisii to Bondo on Friday.
The accident took place at about 6am when the driver lost control in
Kisumu's Ayueyo area in Ahero.
Nyanza traffic commander Andrew Naibei said he was transporting family members to a graduation.
An unknown number of people were injured.
The incident came just hours after
five people died on Kenol
Sagana highway. A lorry transporting logs from Kakuzi farm collided with two matatus heading to Embu.
