Jubilee's
Siaya governor and senator aspirants have asked independents to work with them since they have been 'disowned' by ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Raila asked his supporters to -affiliated parties on August 8.

Salim Ongoga (governor) and Jacob Ochieng (senator) said they will hold major rallies in the county to market Jubilee Party and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Uhuru will defend his seat in the race that has attracted NASA co-principal Raila Odinga and 16 other candidates.
Ongoga told journalists in Siaya on Wednesday that they will rally the "disgruntled" residents to vote for them.
He refuted claims that Jubilee has no support in the county whose Governor Cornel Rasanga is the ODM nominee.
The aspirant dismissed those thinking ODM is the only party in the region, saying they will be shocked after the poll.
"It is time for those with the one-party notion to rethink their stand," Ongoga said.
"Jubilee has made inroads in the county and has more than 10,000 members."
He said they will deliver more than 30 per cent of the region's votes for Uhuru.
Ongoga added that his choice of Jubilee Party in an ODM stronghold was not for personal gain but for
massive development projects.
Ochieng exuded confidence that he will floor the incumbent James Orengo (ODM).
"I'm going to capitalise on his absence in the county to convince voters that I am the best bet," he said.
Orengo beat his three competitors in the ODM primaries after campaigning for only two days.
But Ochieng siad the nominations were a sham and that
disgruntled voters whose preferred candidates were rigged out will back his bid.
The two, however, dismissed claims that they were out to jeopardise NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga's bid.
"It is not a guarantee that all Nyanza residents will vote for Raila. There are those who don't subscribe to Odinga's ideologies. Those are the ones who will vote for us," Ochieng said..
The senator aspirant said he was counting on youths.
Nicholas Gumbo, Jakoyo Midiwo, Muluan Omondi, Noah Migudo, Omoro Odhiambo, Odunga Mamba and Neto Adhola are some of the independents.
They are yet to commit to campaigning for any of the presidential candidates.
