Buzeki to vie for Uasin Gishu Governor as independent candidate

Flamboyant businessman Bundotich Kiprop also known as Buzeki will now vie for Governor seat in Uasin Gishu as an independent candidate.

Buzeki lost to incumbent Governor Jackson Mandago with 82,869 votes against Mandago's 126,681 on Wednesday.

The aspirant filed a complaint with Jubilee but said the party's tribunal failed to decide on the appeal.

Buzeki flew back from Nairobi to Eldoret to announce his decision at Huruma grounds on Saturday.

"I will make the announcement shortly," he said.
