The confusion, chaos and delays experienced in ODM nominations for the past three days continued in Kisii on Thursday.

Voting was delayed in most polling stations due to the late delivery of ballot materials.

By 11am, the exercise had not started in most polling stations across the county.

Elections materials were destroyed at Bogiakumu in Bonchari

after it emerged that MCA aspirant Fred Nunda's name was missing from the ballot paper.

But David Ogega, an aspirant for Bonchari MP, was optimistic about a peaceful process.

"Despite the delays, the exercise has started and we hope it will be free and fair.

He said they agreed to use the ODM members register, and not that of the IEBC.
