Kenya international Clifton Miheso has filed a complaint to FIFA on claims he was forced at gunpoint to end his contract with Golden Arrows.

Miheso told BBC that the incident took place on January 14, 2017, at the club's South African offices in Durban.

The footballer said he was informed after training that CEO wanted to see him on the said day.

"I went to the office where the CEO shocked me that the club had resolved to terminate my contract," he said.

"As we negotiated with my agent on phone, two men dressed in black came in," Miheso said.

He told the BBC reporter that the said men looked like they were lost, and so he paused the engagement with the CEO.

"I thought that they would ask for help so that we continue with our conversation," the former AFC Leopards midfielder said.

"I had never seen them before, they suddenly pulled out their guns and one of them stood behind me with a gun already corked.

I was so shocked and confused. I signed the document while the CEO looked on," he said.

After signing, Miheso said the two gentlemen took the contract and left without saying a word.

"I only see these things in the movies but that day it happened to me. It has really affected my football career," he said.

Miheso said he was

terrified and recorded a statement with the police on the same day.

The 24-year-old is seeking a transfer ban or other sanction to be placed on Golden Arrows.

He further wants the club to pay him an accumulative amount of over Sh 2.2 Million ($22,000) he claims he is owed in wages.

According to BBC sport, Golden Arrows, however, denied the allegations and have since declined to comment.

The winger's legal representative says the club has failed to provide any satisfactory information about the incident.

Miheso has won 14 caps for Kenya and scored five goals.

He also featured for Thika and Sofapaka where he clinched the FKF shield in 2014.
