Leicester City have been drawn against Atletico Madrid in the quarter-final of the Champions League.

They will travel to Spain to face Diego Simeone's side in the first leg on April 11 or 12, with the return leg a week later.

Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti will face his former club and defending champions Real Madrid while rank outsiders Leicester City meet Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid.

Ancelotti was in charge of Real when they hammered Bayern 4-0 away in the second leg of the 2013-14 semi-finals - the Bavarian side's heaviest European home defeat. Zinedine Zidane's side aiming to become the first team to successfully defend the title.

Carlo Barcelona face Juventus in a repeat of the 2015 final which the Spanish side won 3-1. Barca booked a place in the last eight with their astonishing comeback against Paris Saint-Germain.

Borussia Dortmund take on AS Monaco who upset Manchester City in the previous round.

Meanwhile, Manchester United were handed a good draw in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, facing Belgian side Anderlecht.

Jose Mourinho's side battled past Russian side Rostov in the last-16, and have been rewarded with a short trip to the Belgian capital Brussels.

Anderlecht won each leg 1-0 to put out Cypriots Apoel Nicosia in the last round, and are currently top of the Belgian league.

The games will be played on the April 13 and April 20, with the first leg to be played at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium in Brussels.

With a Premier League clash against Chelsea in between the two legs, the crucial thing for United was to keep travel to a minimum, and the good news was they avoided Turkish side Besiktas.
