The Gema community in Mombasa has said its support for JP

will not automatically translate into votes for all its hopefuls.
It said its members are mistreated by the Jubilee leadership in the county. Chairperson Crispus Waithaka, who is eyeing the Nyali MP seat, on Monday said there is no place for the community in the JP Mombasa branch. He ditched the party for Maendeleo Chap Chap.
“Gema has now joined Maendeleo Chap Chap, but we have no problem with Jubilee. We had doubts about the nomination and that is why we have decided I join Chap Chap. We’ll listen to any governor hopeful who will listen to us and take care of our interests,” he said at a Mombasa hotel.
