Cracks have emerged among Ugenya ODM branch officials after MP Dave Ochieng ditched the party for the Movement for Democracy and Growth. The legislator’s defection has divided the party right down the middle, creating two factions that risk stalling the mass voter registration. One faction is led by branch chairman Darlington Mududa of ODM, the other is headed by secretary Omondi Gero, who has declared allegiance to the MP. On Sunday, Mududa said Gero has not been attending meetings called by the party.
