Suspected thugs have

broken into the private office of Simon Lilan, an Eldoret lawyer who went missing ten days ago.

John Tallam, Lilan's brother, said they were yet to confirm what was stolen in the Tuesday night

break-in. He said he learned of the incident on Wednesday.

Tallam said guards at the office along Nairobi Road in Eldoret

told him two people were spotted in the area before the raid but that they escaped.

Police visited the office and launched investigations, amid a search for the lawyer who claimed the late former Nominated MP Mark Too was assassinated.

Lilan had also alleged a plot to kill Too's first wife, Mary.

The lawyer had reported receiving threats following his push for Too's burial to be stopped, for an independent probe into his death to be carried out.
