Elgeyo Marakwet doctors have been given dismissal notice, as the county begins to recruit new medics.
Deputy Governor Gabriel Lagat yesterday said the county will not watch as crucial services are hurt by the continued absence of doctors.
He said recruitment will begin in one week. Doctors went on strike on December 5.
