Clerics tell Senate to swiftly resolve poll laws standoff

The Interfaith Council of Kenya yesterday urged the Senate to hasten inquiry into amendments to the election laws Jubilee MPs passed on December 22. The amendments introduced a manual backup for voter identification and transmission of results.
